Literally just FTL but in 3D. Very derivative, but if you're looking for more FTL there are few options and this is... okay, I guess? The 3D ship adds very little, makes it harder to see in some cases, and the map content isn't randomised.

So here's a thing when the enemy surrenders and your boarding party is aboard their ship, the enemy leaves with no chance of retrieving your crew. RIP crew members. A bug this glaringly obvious should have been sorted out long ago.

The negative reviews were correct in this instance. The game is a pale imitation of FTL, but without any of the charm and more importantly, simplicity of design.
I do have to say that the game isn't bad. It's just that FTL is better in almost every way.
