This is an awesome game, and I can't believe it didn't receive the love it deserved.
I believe the only problem they had was not using generated maps. Playing the same map over and over again isn't fun, even if the dinos are changing and making it harder.

just played it today it might seem like it wont work but you have to wait for the lobby to load, it will give some error then load the lobby. not sure about coop though, i had a blast doing missions alone, it had potential.
